Start a book
Sign in, open your dashboard, and choose New book. Add a title and genre. You can write a standalone book or add it to a series.
Tell StoryForge what you want to write
Use the conversation in your book workspace to describe your idea, characters, audience, and the kind of story you want to tell. Bring an existing outline or develop one together. Explain what you want to keep and what you want to change.
Shape the plan and voice
Review the outline and chapter plans before drafting. Define how the prose should sound, then use a voice test to see that style in a chapter. Ask for changes until the direction feels right for your book.
Review your work as it grows
Open saved plans, chapters, and editing notes from the book sidebar. The progress display shows what is ready and what still needs attention. Read new chapters and give specific feedback on voice, continuity, pacing, and character choices.
Edit and export
Work through editing suggestions, review the final chapters, and ask StoryForge to compile your manuscript. Download EPUB for ebook readers, PDF for a fixed layout, or DOCX for further editing in a word processor. Check the downloaded file before sharing or publishing it.
